3W Networks the region’s premier System Integrator was selected by the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) to execute the communication systems for Riven Field Gas Pipeline Project, an 80 Km gas pipeline, in the Republic of Egypt.
The project aims at transporting gas from Riven gas field in the North of Alexandria concession to Western Desert Gas Complex at a rate ranging between 400 and 450 mcf/d.
3W Networks will deliver the communication systems including SDH fiber optic transmission, Shelters, Power Systems along the above-mentioned pipeline to facilitate the control of voice and data communication for the consumers and service locations along the pipeline. The scope of work includes Detailed Design, Engineering, Procurement, Systems Integration, Installation, and Commissioning.

Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) is a subsidiary of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company, operating in the field of natural gas transmission, distribution and processing. The company was established in March 1997. GASCO operates the gas grid with total length of 22,000 kilometres (14,000 mi). The national gas grid has extended to neighbouring countries through the Arab Gas Pipeline.
The main shareholder is the Egyptian Holding Company for Natural Gas with 70% of shares. Petrojet and Egypt Gas own 15% of shares both.
