3W Networks to deploy the Telecommunication and Security Systems for Karbala Refinery Project

3W Networks, the industry leading System Integrator was awarded the Telecommunication and Security Systems works of Karbala Oil Refinery Project from renowned Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) consortium companies.

Karbala Oil Refinery located is in the South Karbala province, around 100km away from Iraq’s capital Baghdad. The refinery, being built on a 6km² plot of land, will produce liquefied gas, gasoline, gas oil, fuel oil, jet fuel and asphalt and will serve the growing domestic demand for oil and gas in Iraq. The facility has an estimated investment of $6.04bn and will have a refinery capacity of 140,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd).

 

The Karbala Oil Refinery will have the most secured and reliable state of the art Telecommunication and Security Systems consisting of Telephone System, Intercom System, CCTV, General Alarm System, Plant Radio System, Meteorological System, Drop Arm Gate and Traffic Signal Light, PAGA, ACS, and FIDS System.

 

3W Networks scope of work includes the Detailed Design, Project Management, Engineering Services, Procurement, System Integration, Site Acceptance Testing, and Commissioning.
