3W Networks, the region’s premier Telecom & Security System Integrator was recently awarded the implementation of the Telecommunication System for Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) 132/33kV Substations in Nojom Island Star 1 & 2 Substations.
Sharjah is one of the seven emirates forming the United Arab Emirates. It is located along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula. The emirate covers 2,590 square kilometres (1,000 sq mi) and has a population of over a million. SEWA distribute and generate electricity, water and gas to the nationals and residents of Sharjah.
3W Networks will deliver telecommunication solutions to SEWA using the latest technology in Optical Transmission from leading European manufacturers providing a powerful and reliable telecommunication network for the substations. The telecom works will include installation of MPLS and IPT Network Management System.
The scope of work called for the project management, design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning. A Factory Acceptance Test will be conducted at 3W Networks State of the Art Integration facilities in Dubai Silicon Oasis prior to installation at site
