3W Networks awarded the Telecommunication and Security System of Al Zour LNG Import Terminal Project in Kuwait

3W Networks the region’s leading Systems Integrator was awarded by a leading EPC company the Telecommunication and Security Systems of the Al Zour LNG Import Terminal Project in Kuwait.

The Al Zour Import Terminal, a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal is owned by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. The project includes the construction of a re-gasification facility, storage tanks and marine facilities located in the Al-Zour region, approximately 90 km south of the Kuwait’s capital, Kuwait City, near the border with Saudi Arabia.

Once fully-operational, the facility is expected to produce approximately 22 million metric tonnes (MMT) of natural gas a year and will have a storage capacity of 1.8 million m³ of LNG. The liquefaction capacity of the terminal will be 30 billion cubic metres a day (bcm/d).

3W Networks in partnership with the premier telecom and security equipment manufacturers will integrate and deliver the ‘Best Fit’ modern telecommunication solutions systems including LAN/WAN, Telephone System, Hotline Telephone, Public Address and General Alarm, Paging Intercom, Private Mobile Radio System, CCTV, Access Control System, Intruder Detection, and Command Control Security Management System.

3W Networks scope of work includes the design, engineering, project management, system integration, factory testing, installation and site support.
